- Why are you interested in local end-products?
- I became interested doing reasearch on the international coffee chain in 2003. I found out that great locally roasted and packed coffee is available in Costa Rica but that it wasn't exported as an end product. I saw the opportunity and started Cafe Local with a partner. We entered the Bussiness in Development Challenge and got to the finals. In 2005 we imported the first coffee. At this moment I joined forces with Amigos-International.

Traditional Aid or Aid-by-Trade?
It's always difficult to decide what kind of Aid really helps people and environment. I think Aid-by-Trade makes people more equal partners. No victim, but someone to do business with. I would like to discuss with others the advantages and disadvantages of different types of Aid.

Jaja ik ben er ook. Heb het nog niet goed kunnen bekijken maar dat ga ik nog doen en dan vervolgens eens kijken of ik ook nog iets van een bijdrage kan leveren.
